Wife got fired for being too good at her job. I hired her quick instead of her going to work for another loser owner. Sales runs through her veins!
She opened the local free newspaper and zoomed in on 4 pages of large ads for pot. Here in Colorado recreational and medical pot is legal.
The question is: Can pot ads be sent via postcard by the USPS?
Thanks,
Beep

How can anyone prevent a business providing a legal product or service to advertise or U.S. Mail. They are not breaking any laws, so there should be no problem whatsoever. *you could/should contact a local attorney to ask. Or even better, ask them. I'm certain they will know exactly what they can can can't do.
cheers!

that is the most current that i bothered finding. you may have a difficult time with the 70% audience issue if you are doing saturation mail of any kind.
but, my thoughts on that might be completely off base

Or, make a mockup and bring it to the post office, no need for a lawyer if they accept it. Deep in my mind I think of a guy who "did" something, can't remember what, if it was online or offline but I do remember that the guy made TONS of money. Will try to remember more, but somehow the "more" part has something to do about printing. Maybe worth Googling? Question is though, just because it is now legal, how successful is your card going to be or put it this way, how well received will it be?

My suggestion is to have a lawyer-approved disclaimer on the card and in a contract that frees you from any liability if the client does advertise on it.

I have sent out numerous cards with ads related to marijuana use with no problem.
The ads that ran were for hydroponics (grow your own supplies) and clinics offering licences (needed in Michigan). Not once have I had a concern.
Also, there has yet to be a potential advertiser voice concern about these ads.
In fact, yesterday a hydroponic store, who had not advertised on the card before bought a double space.

There is a "haight-ashbury" town next door that should take it in stride, especially with a few "munchie" ads. Grin. One motel on the main strip has on their sign "420 Friendly" They have a smoke shed for the smokers.
