I hate to admit it but... Facebook has HUGE possibilities and anyone in business should do all they can to build a ton of likes AND participate at least once daily not to make fans go somewhere else. So, what can Bob do to grow his Facebook page? Well, first thing that comes to mind is to promote his "TrapFunnel" (http://bobrossoffline.com/forum/showthread.php?3160-quot-TrapFunnel-quot-Real-Estate-%28and-Home-Improvement%29-Lead-Generation-Guide) Lead Generation creation by having fans of Bob's talk about it there. Better yet, make his page "private" by having fans join it by request. Once in, have a contest and give out "Trap Funnel" for every so many "likes" as a thank you for building his page.
And Bob, dedicate 15 minutes a day to make it even more successful, you will thank me for it, lol. Any other ideas what he can do?
Eva
P.s. I "liked" you.

I appreciate the support as always Eva! I hope I can keep a steady presence on facebook, I really like social media just hate getting into something and letting it sit there.

There is a lot of evidence and press about FB fan pages being a waste of effort now that the FB robot is programmed to mostly ignore fan pages unless you pay to boost certain posts. It was free for years to attract all of us, and now that we are here, lined up, and expecting the free lunch to continue, now is an excellent time to start profiting from all those thousands of businesses that have grown dependent upon us. May God keep blessing capitalism. I'm just pointing out that exposure to fans is now about 1-2%, but I'm sure not a FB expert; maybe others know still better. The wizard, even if it's just Frank Morgan behind the curtain, is in complete control of the dials of the control panel moving forward.

I have no idea as to why created his page and what is future plans are, if any thought has gone in it etc. What I do know though is just about anybody can visit his page and no secrets can be hidden. I just came up with the idea of him getting more likes in order to build his own brand on Facebook but he did not jump on it (as far as giving out a free Trapfunnel in exchange for likes),

It didn't help that I sent my whole list the wrong (misspelled) page link hah. Yeah it's a joke that only a small percentage of people will actually see the posts in their newsfeed.
Facebook is just gearing people toward ads. It's still worthwhile to build a fanbase on facebook for one reason - it's cheaper to serve ads (or posts) to your fans than it is to anyone else.
There's a couple of reasons for this - 1. Facebook charges you less regardless when you promote stuff (paid) to your fans | 2. When you promote stuff to your fans and get likes/comments/shares etc... more of your organic fans end up seeing it as well because of facebooks newsfeed algorythm.
Anyway - just wanted to throw my two cents in there - it's not as powerful as it once was, but it's definitely not dead. :)
