View Full Version : Can Someone Help me With Some Super Simple Questions - I don't want to Bug Jake now

Hello,

I am literally hours away from going out and hitting the streets. I have a couple of questions rolling around in my head that I'd love to get settled. I am pretty sure Jake is taking care of his wife and don't want to bug him.

I appreciate any help I can with the following few questions - Thanks in Advance:

Does Jake's Assistant, Sarah design 9 X 12 cards too?

Can anyone share their designer name and their overall satisfaction with them and pricing?

How long does a 9 X 12 take to design start to finish?

Do we pay for all of the design up front?

Do I have to have every space sold before the designer will begin my project?

Do most people here have a starter price on their 9 X 12 spaces and then increase the price thereafter?

How do I search for new businesses by city (or however), just using the search engines?

Sorry for the super-noob questions, they will affect timing of some things and I am a planner...what can I say

Thank you so much in advance.

Raleigh:D

Hey Raleigh, I got your email and sorry I didn't get back to you sooner!

Sarah is really good at a lot of things, and her design skills are pretty good however she takes on a lot of work for me and having her do 9x12's would be too time-consuming since she spends so much time working on projects for me and keeping my remote controlling leads organized.

Gary hummel is really the best choice for getting 9x12 ads done, his email is garyhummel@verizon.net and he's $25 per ad (and WELL worth it). Lots of members use him and he's the best you'll ever find.

If you're ready to start prospecting this week, can you just hold off a few more days? I'm trying REALLY hard to get my new guide out to release this weekend and I think you'll be better off waiting to get it before you start.

I'm not sure how gary works, I think he takes payment after completion.

The designer will work on your ads one by one as you give them to them and then you'll need to have them lay it all out on the final card (might cost $20 or so).

Thank you so much, Jake!

I would be glad to wait. I have a bunch of nit picky things I am dealing with anyhow and I am in full swing on the Remote Controlling project...found a great telemarketer to help me. I should be requesting print quotes from you and Sarah very soon.

Can't wait to read your new materials. I will wait as you advise....thanks for the heads up on that :)

Great to know about Gary and the general work flow I can expect. That really helps me plan the process and stay focused on the selling part.

Off to contact Gary.

Be Well Jake!! :D

Jake,
Does Gary do all type of design besides the 9x12 like the M3's and rack cards etc... ?
I've never done this type of stuff before so what is the process when it comes to this kind of stuff?
Sorry for the very noob question but this is all new to me as well.

I wrote some details on the post Vikuna made. If you don't already know, you can click "new posts" at the top left of the forum navigation bar.

Yep he does basically any print and web design. He has a price list of his most common services you can request. Gary is a diamond in the rough, you'll probably never find someone has skilled and responsive as him for the price.

Don't worry about asking any questions, they're all welcome!
