In my experience you should be able to fill your card using my method in 3-4 weeks (spending a couple of hours per day). Now if you could put more time into it you probably could fill it faster. :)

Hi Jonny, you certainly don't have to purchase anything else to fill a 9x12 with my system...I do recommend, however, offering additional benefits (stacking the benefits) to fill your card quickly--so I personally like to offer list-building to all my advertisers. If you do offer list-building like I do I like to use a simple tool that costs $27 one time fee-I just mark up the price of all my ads by $2 to pay for the thing. So you're not really paying for it. :)

You DO NOT have to have a website, marketing materials, additional printing materials, etc. That's the beauty of it. You don't even need a sample 9x12 card to show prospects.

There is no OTO--everything is included here. It's so simple, straightforward.

If you have a US based phone number I know you could secure advertisers for a particular US location from another country. That wouldn't be a problem.

You would obviously have to work out the mailing details of your cards. If you have the mailing part worked out--this guide will help you gain your advertisers if you position yourself the way I teach in the guide. Right now my nearest group of advertisers is about 100 miles away--no one has asked me to meet them face to face. 100 miles or 1000 miles away--that's what this system is about--filling your ad spots without having to actually be "physically" in a particular area.

Papadon- me too! I had to come up with something that allowed me to work it with only a couple of hours a day-- 3 kids (all 2 years old and under)..make it that much more difficult. I love my method because I don't get nervous any more calling on local business owners, people really listen to me, and see the benefit in what I'm doing almost immediately.

My bonus guide (I use as a prospecting tool) does the selling for me--so when I call on business owners they are very receptive to me--it's just a matter of relating with them, building trust over the phone, and sending them an invoice. It's perfect for me and I know it will be great for others here who hate knocking on doors or cold-calling.

Hi Gordon, to answer your questions:

1. Yes, email for first contact. You'll be then warm-calling these customers (although I've closed a few just through email alone). You will be cherry-picking your advertisers so you won't be calling hundreds of business owners.

2. For every 30 emails I send-- I close about 3 advertisers. Very rarely do I have someone respond to my emails that I'm not able to call up and close over the phone. Actually come to think of it- that's only happened to me one time--and even that particular business (a Vein Center) is looking to do some solo mails in the next couple of months and asked me to follow up with them.

3. Sure, you could use the basis of my emails as direct mail copy--I however find that direct mail can be expensive for prospecting for advertisers--for me it's been easiest to just send an email/ call them up afterwards. Just make it simple.

4. Yes, the course does talk about the most likely to buy prospects--just like in Jake's products (aka Bob Ross)...

Hi Steve, I've printed 3 since so far--with another card hitting mailboxes in December, and I'm starting 2 new zones: 1 in Austin, TX and the other in Southeast Texas. My goal is to have 5 cards going each month--with of course upselling/cross-selling other direct mail/internet marketing services. :)

I use a 15 spot card currently. I do talk about how I sell my 3 different ad spots through email/phone. I don't have a sample of a 15 spot card in the course--I would suggest using the sample from the Bob Ross 9x12 System it's a 16 spot card mock up. Zenyatta in this forum used to also have some great samples.

Well, I was going to comment about what's inside and give people the gist of what you're getting. However, Zen does a wonderful job of that above so let me just highlight a few things that stood out to me.

1. Amber gives you a PROVEN system that has helped her build not only a 9x12 postcard, but a "local marketing expert" platform. So although this is marketed as a 9x12 system, it absolutely can be used to build other similar business models. It's a SYSTEM.

2. Amber gives you two bonuses, one that will help you initially appear like, and eventually become, an expert in the eyes of potential clients. It is actually part of a whole system in and of itself, that is separate from yet used in conjunction with the system mentioned above. The other is something that can hopefully help you stop screwing yourself over if you're having a FEAR of talking to people about things that can help them. The last bonus may work for you and it may not, everyone's different, but it's worth a shot.

3. Amber took the time to lay this out for anyone to dominate their local area. Jake, who I have no idea how he does all the different things he does (BIG THANKS JAKE), took the time to add this part of the forum to make offers like this available. Amber's guide actually consists of her “9 x 12 Fast Profits System”, “Local Co-op Membership Guide” and “Getting Over Your Fear of Calling Local Business Owners”.

If you bought Jake's (Bob Ross') course(s), you might have jumped right in and have done a few post cards already. But if you, like me, have no real experience in this kind of business, or would like further training and helpful advice to take your fledgling business to the next level, then I'd highly recommend you buy Amber's 3-part guide – especially at the low price she's making it available for.

Some of us might lack the confidence to try this type of business 'on our own', but the methods Amber gives you in her guide will give you the confidence you need to go for it!

Amber lays out a weekly work schedule, showing you how to go about the various tasks, step by step, to get your business up & running. She also provides useful tools & resources.

Nope--you don't have to deliver the postcards by hand to the post office. You can ship them via USPS and just increase the price of your ads so your advertisers pay for it.

Yah, I do talk about the list-building tool I personally use on my advertisers' websites to help them build an SMS list or email list.

Yes, I do talk about how much I charge for ads on my card. I've worked with 2 different price points--in 2 different zones--You'll see what's worked best for me.

I do mention in the course how many pieces I mail--you can either do 5k or 10k--in my opinion those 2 #'s work best for mailings.

In my experience, after I send the initial email I absolutely DO have business owners either email me back or call me back (usually email me) with questions. HOWEVER--I ALWAYS make it a point to do a warm call to follow up. In my course I teach how to do this without feeling all anxious and nervous. Believe me--I HATE cold-calling--but the way I've put this together makes me feel completely cool when calling up these businesses--and I'll show you how I position myself so you can do the same. :)

I was in a situation where because of unsuccessful business investments and a few other reasons, I had no money, was homeless living with a newly married couple of 1 and a 1/2 years, eating their food, trying my last effort to work full time on business (I know, embarassing). Anyways, I told Bob Ross, and he contacted amber and they agreed to allow me to have a review copy of the course. Let me tell you. I had nearly ran out of hope, but after reading that course, I felt my hope return. (Hope as in, hope that I could get a biz going and had a plan that was worth living off of these friends for 3 more weeks and focusing on this full time). But of course, I then decided to pursue a few things at once and ended up finding myself in a lucky business deal.

I haven't tried this method, and I was going to wait to comment on it until I try it myself for 6 weeks straight two hours per day, however, I decided to just post my initial impressions in case that is of any use. Basically, my initial impression was that it very well could work and was worth working on for 2 to 3 hours every day for a six week period to see what kind of results I get. I put it on my short list of about six business methods I intend to put into solid action in order to have a diversity of assests that continue making monthly income with little to no maintenance.

Perhaps, I will come back here in several months, maybe like 5 or 6 or less and be able to share my real time experience of setting this up and doing it and share my results.

I was consulting with my friend. He was helping me decide whether or not I would put 2-6 hours a day into this method. He said, one reason to do it was that they gave me this course free of cost (review copy) to help me with an emergency situation. If it didn't work, why would they give me a course to help me get out of my urgent problem? (my friend being the husband of the couple who are hosting me while I work to emerge into self sufficiency was naturally concerned and wants me to get stuff in order so I can go out and stand on my own, so to speak) So, even though I didn't put the course into action because I ended up finding a fairly rare business deal, we still mutually agreed that it would have been a good idea if I still needed to. We for a second actually decided that putting in 6 to 7 hours a day would be great, but then thought to have more than one fire cooking is good too :) If you are reading this, I think you are fairly lucky, so to speak, to have found this training/course. That's my opinion, it is quite empowering as far as I see it.

p.s. I have done a few days of prospecting with the 9X12 card as an in person face to face kind of thing. That was good actually I felt that two people over a few days seemed that they might sign up. So, I am far from what some may call a "good closer". In fact, I've only closed a few things in my life. Either way, I learned the interest was there and the need. One biz was excited and said they would have saved $4000 dollars doing a post card with me. So seriously, and I would still make a solid profit for very little compared to the 120 hours someone would have to work to make that much. I would have probably spent about 12 or so. So basically, $100 dollars an hour would have been the ratio. If that makes sense. I won't be coming back to the forum for a whie because other stuff is picking up, but if anyone has questions ask Bob or Amber or any of the other experts. If you really really needed to ask me something (which you wouldn't) but just in case, you could go through Bob or Amber and they have my contact info.

If you need me to print and mail your EDDM that's no problem, I charge about 5 cents per piece to mail them. If you're going to mail them out to post offices yourself it would probably make more sense to just have me do it because the cost will almost be the same since 90% of it is priority mail postage.

If you call USPS make sure to call their EDDM small business hotline, not a local office.

I don't really have anything published with that pricing. Reason is I haven't found a way to calculate it perfectly yet because it's based on how many post offices it's going to and some other small variables like size of the postcards and how many fit into the flat rate boxes. I find that the price tends to be roughly 5 cents so I use that as a guideline.

I only charge like $25 to $30 to do the prep work because I have my min-wagers doing that but the priority mail shipping is expensive which sucks up 90% of that cost. I once quoted a flat rate to a guy before looking at the specifics and then find that his 10k mailing was going to 6 different post offices, which created a lot more flat rate boxes and I ended up actually losing money.

In the meantime, 5 cents per piece is safe but always email me prior so I can see if it can be done cheaper.

Also- the font is really large because I have uploaded to a flip-book online and the font has to be really big in order to read it.....You could reformat it and make it smaller--I wouldn't go too,too much smaller--keep it an easy read for your prospects--if the font is too small it may look way too long and they may never read it...I could be wrong--but it's worked very well for me so I just keep it like it is..it's up to you though...

I understand, it sucks! But keep in mind this, Amber didn't want to make a product at first and I hounded her about it because I knew everyone would benefit from it.

When she said she had a little time to put into it she told me she didn't want to sell it for less than $50. I told her she'd sell at least 5x more if she priced it under $20 for a day or so. Also I suggested she consider there's a lot of people in the same boat she was who can't really swing more than $20, so it would be nice to give them a chance at it too.

THEN... she could price it at the full amount and keep it there.

I'd like to say to those who are on the fence, who have not bought this guide, that in this guide Amber reveals several services and tools that can make life much easier for those seeking to get started on the 9x12 system. I thought I knew my way around the web when it comes to unique and helpful services, but she gives out helpful links that I'm pretty sure I would not have found out about any other way.

So for that I am really grateful, because saving time while being able to provide more value to our advertising clients is the name of the game and will make the difference between doing just "OK" and doing really well with this. If you over-stuff the value, the clients will have no choice but to continue to renew with you over and over again. And with the ideas in this guide it makes it a no-brainer for your clients to keep writing you checks or emailing you money repeatedly because you actually end up not just saving them money but actually adding to, increasing their bottom line.

You'll still need to add the shipping but not the shrink wrap. What happens is that I get the postcards shipped to me, then I prepare them for EDDM, and then I ship them out via priority mail to the post office(s) it's going to. So they actually have to be shipped somewhere twice; once to me and once to the post office.

So you would add printing & shipping, then add 16 cents postage, then add 5 cents per piece to cover the prep and priority mail shipping to the post offices.

If any of this is still unclear don't hesitate to say so.

Got this the day it launched and it is AWESOME. I had some interest in a 9x12 post card in my community and surrounding areas when I tried to launch it before.. but I could never find a consistent approach that worked for me, and went on to focus on M3 and helping clients generate leads via CL... always meaning to get back to print, and 9x12...

I read through this once, and then again to make sure i was not missing any of the details. I will be going though it AGAIN this week while implementing each aspect on the prospects I had interested before, and others I have found... and know that this process is golden. Hi Tracy -- try using a different Unzip program, if possible. I use 7-zip, which is free. It allows you to unzip RAR-zipped files. Here's the download link:

I appreciate your feedback. Thing is it opens ok, but then when I click to open the file or try to move the opened files into a folder on my pc, I get a formatting error. Besides, I can read other files the program opens. Technological oddities. Gotta love it. Lol! I'm sure Amber will help me out.

Whatever system you use make sure it uses a double optin for subscribers. Read the recent article in Mobile Marketer:http://www.mobilemarketer.com/cms/opinion/columns/16360.html. The amount of liability you can bring upon yourself and/or your client is huge if you don't handle your list properly.

I don't really have anything published with that pricing. Reason is I haven't found a way to calculate it perfectly yet because it's based on how many post offices it's going to and some other small variables like size of the postcards and how many fit into the flat rate boxes. I find that the price tends to be roughly 5 cents so I use that as a guideline.

I only charge like $25 to $30 to do the prep work because I have my min-wagers doing that but the priority mail shipping is expensive which sucks up 90% of that cost. I once quoted a flat rate to a guy before looking at the specifics and then find that his 10k mailing was going to 6 different post offices, which created a lot more flat rate boxes and I ended up actually losing money.

In the meantime, 5 cents per piece is safe but always email me prior so I can see if it can be done cheaper.

Hi Amber, Im an old postcard veteran returning to make this a MONSTER success again…..and all I know is spending 2-3 weeks pounding the pavement in my hometown soliciting business owners in person sucked!

I am THRILLED at how much progress the community has made here, and anything to speed up my system and sell ad spaces via phone/email is preferred!

I'm going to check this out and put it into action very shortly. Right now I'm revamping my entire website and business plan to graduate from small time graphic designer, to a design and print marketing powerhouse ;)
