1. Do you use a website for your printing company?

2. Is anyone selling exclusively over the telephone? If yes, how long should I expect before I make my first sale?

3. ANY ADVICE is very much appreciated.

I do not have the 9x12 System. I purchased Print Profiteers.

I know you sent a PM and an email, I just wanted to let you know that I'm trying to get through all the emails I can at the moment. I have literally hundreds right now and many of them require long responses with multiple questions so it's hard to get back to every one quickly.

However, since others get value from discussion on here, I'm glad to weigh in.

For selling print services over the phone, it's not necessary to have a website although it will help. I would not say this if we were talking about the 9x12 system, where it's not necessary at all.

A simple wordpress site that doesn't look unfinished will suffice. Don't worry if you don't have a website though, you'll find that the majority of biz owners never even ask.

You will be able to sell print services fairly quickly over the phone, just make sure you're calling businesses that have easy-to-reach owners like ccontractors for example. Keep in mind that you'll likely have multiple conversations prior to an order being placed, but the pipeline fills VERY fast and within a few days of calling you'll have tons of people to keep track of so keep good records. Don't be surprised that by the end of the week that you first start calling, you have twenty or more interested people needing calls back.

If you're going to cold call to set up appointments to go meet with them, that's a much better strategy.
