Let me know what you think of these two ideas:
My 1st idea - go out into the local market (i.e. the local supermarket parking lot) - and get local people's reactions to the postcards (and record it with your phone's voice record feature). Or better yet, have someone video tape their responses - this would be a great sales tool from the beginning - even before you've done your first card. If you get 5-10 of these responses on video... then make sure you have the people's permission to use their footage (I'm assuming you have to get their permission), and use that as a prospecting tool. When business owners see LOCAL PEOPLE, and they recognize that it's really people in their town/city, and to see people's reactions to the postcards - it will make them see that people are shocked by the gigantic postcard that is different from anything they've ever seen. And that what we're saying about 100% exposure... is true. People are going to at the very least... look at it. Afterall - they can't miss it! Unlike ValPak, Pennysaver and other forms of advertising.
My 2nd idea - after you've done your first postcard & have customers who are happy with their results, ask them to give me an audio testimonial (in person or over the phone). This would speak wonders to business owners who hear other business owners raving about the results they've received from our postcard. (I wonder if Bob could get a few audio testimonials from his customers...???) Maybe he could have his Fiverr telemarketer call some of them on his behalf and record it? Bob's a good guy - maybe he'd be willing to do this for us to help us all out! :D
