hmmm,,,,,,,,
Jake I sense a lawsuit on your horizon,,, "marketing beast"?
What else could it be other than an Over Sized postcard ?
For the new people in the forum:
Jake contacted the woman from PostCardMania months ago and made an arrangement with her,,, so,,,
she is very familiar with the "Bob Ross method".
I'll flip if she teamed up with Google and RIPPED his method. Could be interesting since the original 2011 WSO on warrior documents Jake as the creator.
Now I'm waiting for Monday to see what the "marketing beast" could possibly be.

Lawsuit? Seriously? LOL
MN, the "monster mailer" website you turned me on to has been doing 15x12 mailings since March 2011. Bob started his popular postcard thread at the end of November. Who is ripping who off? Welcome to the wonderful world of marketing where people might whine about ripping/swiping ideas, but it never stops them or anyone from doing so.
I remember reading a thread on "warrior" about a dollar bill letter. The idea was "new" to noobs, but those who have been around for awhile heard it from Gary Halbert in the 90s. Gary Halbert "ripped" it from Robert Collier who "ripped" it from another dude back in the late 1920s. Imagine an idea that has been around for over 80 years becoming "new" every few years.

Ripped or not, if Erica (or anyone else at Postcardmania) still has access to this forum, might be a good idea of bob to cancel that password...

yeah I realize he would have to have it patented after I posted .
Gene Simmons of KISS patented the term "OJ" for the purpose of collecting money.
Guess I was just starting some Zhit !

Hah yeah unfortunately I am not the actual creator, although I'm probably the 'authority' on it. Thanks for the support though :)
I wonder what these guys are up to as well. Hopefully it's something that lives up to their hype and we can duplicate.

Yeah, I got that email too and who knows, they might have come up with a real "killer" strategy,

I contacted Erica after buying the WSO months ago and she never responded back.
Just got a letter in the mail, Google teamed up with Vista Print with this promo: www.google.com/ads/vistaprintexpress

Mystery Solved... Kinda...
Direct Mail 2.0 is what it's called:
Seamlessly works with Google Remarketing (Hmmm - Google Remarketing?)
Built In USPS tracking
Response Tracking System
Here is the link:

Of course, calling one of their representatives will get you more information on how this works...
Some of the mystery revealed...

"With Google Remarketing once they visit they’ll now see your add on sites they visit afterwards over and over again. This warms them up and gets them primed to interact with you."
Isn't this PPC or is Afffilate? On the postcard tell them to use a certain keyword or website URL in Google which you set up PPC for, which achieves the same thing?

Looks duplicatable to me. Nothing proprietary or revolutionary here. I would think that those of us in our local markets still have an advantage of personal relationships. Postcardmania might have bitten off more than they're prepared to chew. Does anyone really trust Google? Especially the local business guy who has been overwhelmed by pandas and penguins? It will be fun to watch and LEARN from!! Bring it!

Google just paid a $22 million dollar FTC fine for privacy violations from cookie tracking. This Direct Mail 2.0 relies upon cookies and tracking visitor traffic to show Google Ads on other sites visitors go to. Seems like the webmaster would want to have an iron-clad privacy policy as Google just passed the burden of tracking from them to the website owner who implements Direct Mail 2.0.

So that is why the ads I see are all from sites that I have visited recently? Thought it was kinda "fishy", lol,
